The Alaska-based Casey Smith Project are amplifying autumnal vibes with their latest single ‘What Do You Say’, adding haunting synths and textural omnichord to their established indie-rock chops. Fresh off the release of their latest LP ‘Red Lights and Whiskey’, the group is expanding on their pop sensibility, crafting a track with a thunderous rhythm section, a plaintive melody, and a sense of yearning for the halcyon days of past, as a chill begins to settle in the Arctic air.
